Set Goals
Define Work Scope

Step 1
While this point might seem straightforward at first - it tends to be just the opposite. You might be thinking that you know exactly how you want your website to look and what goals it should accomplish - but have you really thought it through? Making guesses rarely allows an optimal goal set up. We’d advise you to invest some of your time to research and explore possibilities with us. Sometimes sharing our insights with your educated guesses results in developing a website design strategy completely different to the initial one.

Only after specifying correct goals can we set an adequate work scope. Feel free to use our Website Cost Calculator and Client Survey apps to get an idea of how this step might look like.

Wireframing and sitemap construction

Step 2
With the goals and scope defined we will propose a website map and a wireframe. We’ll start with creating a low-fidelity wireframe and presenting it to you. From this point we will be expanding it until we reach a high-fidelity, detailed wireframe that’s ready to be turned into a working website. When working on smaller websites we often end this point with a working template-website instead of a wireframe at this point.

Content creation and Copywriting

Step 3
With the wireframe and a sitemap ready we can create a working website prototype and start planning content for specific pages. This is not just copywriting texts but also designing graphical content that is interesting to your audience.

A well placed, interesting infographic can bring more attention to your content than the best piece of text. While creating content we focus equally on both user experience and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), as both aspects are crucial to a website's success.

Visual Design

Step 4
Website structure and the content is defined at this point. While there still might be elements waiting for their design or parts of text missing, the majority of it is there. We will now be designing how the website feels, incorporating parts of your brand identity into it and polishing the graphics.

Depending on the amount of previously done work we will start with the general styling or only expanding on what has been done so far. The result is a fully operational website for you and your team to view.

Testing

Step 5
It’s time to make sure everything clicks. While we use our software and manual crawling to test the website for missing links, pages behaving the way they shouldn't, or responsivity issues we encourage you to do the same. Depending on the scope of the project this step can take between a few days and a month.

Launch and Maintenance

Step 6
After adequately testing and making sure everything works the way it should we will deploy your website to a live server. We will redirect the desired domain to point towards it and make sure the website is fully crawlable and indexable by search engine bots.

We won’t leave you alone after the launch. Depending on the scope and our agreements you will receive at least 2 months of our maintenance, so you can make sure the website is doing its job.
